Dear Stakeholder,
Please note that the 9th annual Parthenium weed (Gugu Karoti) day event will take place at AKU on 18th October 2024 from 8.00 AM to 3.00 PM; whereby about 150 invitees including Media, Government Leaders, Field Officers, Extension Officers, Researchers, Individuals, Farmers and other Organizations are expected to meet and discuss among other issues on management of Parthenium hysterophorus (Gugu Karoti) and other related conservation issues .
Presentations/exhibitions will be on these year theme “Rebuilding Our Soil”
Also, you will have time to visit AKU innovation and demonstration sites
We kindly request for your own dependence to arrive at the event, whether you are living in or outside of Arusha and confirm your attendance on/before 18th October 2024
