With Canistel seedlings at the perfect diameter for cleft grafting we are looking forward to grafting a lot of Canistel in the next few weeks here in Florida at ECHO NARIC.
Good Budwood - All the leaves surrounding the bud are hardened off. The bud is full, but none of the “fingers” (future new leaves) have started to open. The bud is full and plump.
Bad Budwood - The young leaves are starting to open from the bud.
