As you may know Citrus Greening (HLB Disease) is devastating citrus crops in the US. . It is first seen as yellowing of terminal leaves, the fruit won’t ripen and fairly quickly the tree dies. Are you seeing these symptoms in your part of the world? How is it affecting the small citrus grower? What effect will this have on nutrition?

In Belize, it used to be that growing a lime tree in your yard was easy. Now it’s very hard to keep them healthy. But, I’m trying a combination of biochar infused with synthetic fertilizer and compost, with once or twice per year sythetic fertilizer application in the drip line of the trees, with some foliar fertilizing, and with using grey water to irrigation the trees. All this in an effort to keep them strong. For two out of three trees it seems to help a lot.
