Crushed Annona seeds as potential in-ground insecticide

There are many reports and suppositions regarding the use of Annonaceous plant material for its bioactive properties. In areas around the world where Annona squamosa (Sweetsop) is grown, there is potential for using the seeds simply by crushing and admixing with mulch or calcareous soil to impart insecticidal properties against ground-dwelling pests such as root weevil larvae.
