In middle of May, 2025 I noticed serious destruction of the pods on four moringa (Moringa oleifera) trees. I am passing along photos of infected pods in the hope that this serious pest can be contained, treated, and controlled. The director of our local BAC office and ECHO staff have shared that moringa pod flies have not been positively identified and reported in Haiti. We are trying to use existing local networks to check for this problem. Please share here if you have observed this pest in your area of Haiti and include your general location.
