I personally grow vermi worms and use my own urine as fertilizer. I am growing pigeon pea and plan to plant bush cowpea as a nitrogen fixing plant. Mexican sunflower for chop and drop, madre de cacao, etc. I compost our food waste. But, this will not solve all our food security needs. For instance, we still eat rice as our main staple crop here in the Philippines. It needs lots of urea. I don’t grow it.

Thanks Martin for your article. I saved it for my offline collection. I have watched a video about him awhile back ago and liked it… I haven’t seen it’s adoption here in the Philippines. Dr. Cho’s Korean natural farming is known here. JADAM even less. Most farmers don’t practice natural farming though. I wish they did!
