General Description
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical know-how in selection, propagation, breeding, cleaning, saving and storage of regionally important crops of Asia through combined laboratory and field work within the ECHO Asia Seed Bank operations. This role includes ‘information and quality control’ and conduct of applied research on seeds to drive practical seed technology innovations in conjunction with the research and extension goals of ECHO. In her/his capacity as technical specialist on Seed Technology, this employee will support trainings, workshops and learning events of ECHO Asia. This position is a support role to the function of the Seed Bank Supervisor.
