Opportunities in Taiwan

Hello,

My wife and I are planning to begin missions work in Taiwan and are looking to connect with ag development workers in the region. We are prioritizing language study first, but both have some entry level experience in agricultural work. We would love to volunteer under and learn from more experienced mentors.

Thanks for reaching out to the echo network! You might want to consider joining us in Thailand at some point for one of our ECHO Asia Tropical Agriculture & Development (TAD) courses. These are designed as 1-week survey courses that cover a wide range of agricultural practices, technologies, and useful crop species (see schedule in above link). We have TAD courses scheduled for February, June, and November in 2024. Just thought I’d throw that out there for you…

Well good luck! No taiwanese farmers speak english…they also dun speak chinese for God’s sake but a chinese sub-language called Tai-i which is a language only understand by very small communities in the world
