Is there anyone who is working to inform people in Uganda about parthenium and its dangers? I live in Soroti and have been watching for it for years since I learned about it at ECHO Arusha in 2016, I believe. In the past few years I’ve noticed it spreading especially around Kampala and some other cities where road work is going on. A few weeks ago, I saw some in Soroti for the first time, as well as a single plant in Toroma. I am going to make some posters with information about the plant to share with the farmer groups and pastors I work with as well as the LCs of my area.
