I am looking for additional plant material of specific species and/or varieties as I’m is working with others to establish a food forest and agricultural training site in Campeche state in the Yucatan peninsula. I’m busy planting trees that I’ve been able to source, but I’m still looking for more local germplasm resources. If you or anyone you know may have plant propagation material to share (especially the species below), please reply here!
- Longevity Spinach (Gynura procumbens)
- Breadfruit Trees (Artocarpus altilis) - have networked already with Trees that Feed
- Okinawa Spinach (Gynura biocolor)
- Cranberry Hibiscus - looking for established plants or seeds (Hibiscus acetosella)
- African yam (Dioscorea spp. ideally a rotundata subsp.)
- Taro/Dasheen/Malanga (Colocasia esculenta)
