Planting cover crop seeds

In many parts of the world seeds are sown with the help of a ‘jabber’.
There are many many designs!!

Does anyone here have experience of using/making a simple one from tubing?

Here is one I found. Please let us know if you make this or another and what your experience is.

Thanks for that but we need something more robust.
It has to penetrate though the cover crop into the soil below

I have tried this manual no-till seeder, the design is very interesting. May be you could make something similar, but the price is very reasonable.

There is also this one that I do not tried, but seems promising:
