I have been in contact with a person working in SE Asia. The people group he works with is harvesting the fruit from sugar palm (Arenga pinnata). They currently boil the fruit then pry open the shell to harvest the fruit inside one at a time. Does anyone have any experience with this fruit? Is there a faster way to extract the fruit from the shell? He is looking for any suggestions on machines or processes that can speed up extraction. Thanks!
